For sale is my 1964 Volvo P1800S. The car is estimated by the previous owner to have 80-100k miles. The engine was recently removed, esealed completely, new hoses and water pump and repainted in Hemi Orange (I liked it better than the Volvo Red). I had the carburetors tuned and balanced, nd the timing reset. Compression is 175-180 psi in all four cylinders.I have installed a Delco Alternator instead of the original generator. The car originally came from Oregon and is very solid, ith only two dime size rust behind the front wheels. The under-body has some surface rust as can be seen, ut thanks to years of oil leaks (to which I have recently fixed), t is in very good shape. I have just recently installed a new header and exhaust which can been seen in the photos. Last, have installed a push button start (picture shown) as these Volvo's are notorious for breaking the ignition keys.Things that do NOT work at present:-Speedometer-Odometer-Heater controls - It warms up nicely and the fan works, ut the temp control needs to be replaced. All in all, his is a good car that is fun to drive. The car needs paint and body work but is by no means embarrassing. The chrome is pretty good with just very slight pitting. The seats and headliner are all in good condition, ut the carpet needs to be re-dyed or replaced as does the interior panels. Again, hey are showing their age, ut are not embarrassing. The reserve is appropriate to market at present but is lower than what I paid for the car. Title is clear.Cash or Cashiers Check are the only form of payment I will accept. Cashiers check will first have to clear before car and or title are released to buyer. A $500 deposit will be required 24 hours after sale. I can/will help load the vehicle for shipping, ut I will NOT arrange.
