I can say this, nd other than some over restoration on some small items (polished stainless exhaust and intake), obody other than a retired car lover would do such a thing--And I think that maybe he fought with his wife and hence the car became his perfection escape. A good cause for the hobby. Remember only 8100 produced--of what's left (Rusted/RDrives 4spd u get to a very small number maybe 400?)--this has to be the most perfect-- One sold at Bonhmas auction June 2014 for $92,000 and said to have 1000 miles on it. I would say for the run of the mill P1800es they have doubled in price the past couple of years--true investment, nd btw a classic design and SCM's pick as the top ten collector. By today's labor cost for restoration and materials $92000 is almost what it would cost to pull this off like this one.

I have detailed pics of the way it started with a really nice California car (pic shown) with NO rust and then every nut and bolt and rotisserie as shown in pics took place--Black leather done correctly as well as dash--Upgraded stereo/cd. Currently registered in Arizona. custom hand cut logo mats-- and for the cargo area with corrected luggage straps. This whole restoration process is well documented in about 100 pics I have, f the complete process--Its got about 1000 miles on it and sorted out.
