1970 Volvo 1800 E

Up for bidding I have a 1970 Volvo 1800E with a 2.0 liter engine in very good condition, not a show car but in an operable, sound condition very close to OEM specification. This is a drivable, very enjoyable vehicle to own and is ready to hit the road as is and turn heads or will make a great OEM restoration candidate. The current odometer reads 117,741 miles and is believed to be accurate. This was first year Volvo 1800’s had Bosch Fuel Injection (OEM installed). It also came from the factory with 4 wheel disk brakes and a 4 speed with over-drive transmission. This car was purchased 10 years ago and has been garage kept since. This sale will include receipts and various papers along with some spare parts from my garage.

Recent modifications and upgrades include with less than 1000 miles:

1. Rebuilt heads to include new valves and case-hardened seats.

2. Rebuilt gas tank.

3. New exhaust from manifold back.

4. New clutch.

5. Rebuilt fuel injectors.

6. Electronic ignition.

7. Two new front tires.

Know problems:

1. Small spot of rust bubbles on passages front fender (see photo)

2. Small spot of paint chips and scratch on passenger rear panel (see photo)

3. Left front brake sometimes drags.

4. Speedometer is not calibrated to transmission correctly.
