1 owner Volvo 240 Wagon with very low original miles. The car has a 5 speed manual transmission--looks and runs beautiful. The owner was a retired NY Fireman who kept great care for the car until his passing in 2016.He kept detailed service records that comes with wagon. The timing belt was done at 40k and a new clutch was put in at 59k. The car was consistently serviced. In 2009 the car was taken off road due to illness and kept in a climate controlled garage and covered. It was started and run several times a year(run around the block etc.. but had no insurance or registration since 2011(last time it went through a st safety inspection) The car was used lightly all its life and the speedometer stopped in late 2008. We assume it has roughly 600-800 more miles than than the 62701--somewhere between 63,300-63,500.The car is in beautiful condition--rust free everywhere. The original paint still looks new. There is one mark on the passenger's door a 6-8 inch smallish mark. The interior is like new. There are no cracks in dash no marks on seats no stains non smoker and everything works normal. The wagon runs great. We put new tires new brakes new drive belts(still have to put on the power steering belt pump and it will be done prior to sale) and needs nothing. We took it for a 25 mile test drive and runs new. The car has power windows radio heated seats ac(just charged) roof rack(some of the original covering is starting to come off the racks) The clutch is like new as it was changed at 59k. I doubt that there is a better example of an original manual 240 wagon that exists--or it has to be one of the best. Its really that good. It also comes with a bunch of parts that the owner collected and will come with car. The "240" on the back of the rear is on the dash put their by owner.(picture shown)
