Description of 1960 Volvo 122 |
PLEASE NOTE, I COULD NOT PICK THAT THE TITLE IS MISSING, EBAY FORCED ME TO PICK ANOTHER OPTION BUT, THIS VOLVO IS SOLD ON A BILL OF SALE, NO TITLE, IT WENT MISSING DECADES AGO!!! This 1960 Volvo Amazon 122S sat on a property in the desert here in Southern Arizona for around 45 years. The person selling it to me did not really know anything about the history of the car, it sat there as he grew up and now he needed to clear out all cars and other stuff to start growing whatever you can grow in the desert. I bought it because he told me it was a 1957 Amazon, but upon getting the hood open and checking the VIN I found out is is a 1960.So I'm putting the car up for sale as I found it, starting at a price lower than what I paid and no reserve. So, highest bidder will be the new owner and again, NO TITLE. With no title it can't be exported as a car, it would have to go as a parts car in case the bidder is from overseas. I hope the pictures shows the condition, very good exterior body with minimal rust, there is floor pan rust.No dual carb's but mostly complete except for that.I can possible get a set of dual carb's from an old Volvo from a friend of mine, not sure of the year and they are not included in this auction but they can be bought separately. I don't know what the mileage is but I had to put something in the box. The Volvo is sitting at my restoration shop in Phoenix, Arizona.I'd like to get it sold and picked up as soon as possible, we are running out of space fast. Please ask questions early since I might not be able to respond to questions the last few hours of the auction. And PLEEEESE no not bid unless you are willing and able to pay should you be the highest bidder. |
