Description of 1994 Volvo 940 |
Meet Mjölnir (Thor’s Hammer) Rare gem of a car that was my wife's daily until a early last year. Was originally a CA car (2nd owner). This car is SO smooth to drive. People who have had one will constantly tell me how much they loved this car. It is a TANK but with the turbo has fantastic pickup. These are RARE (especially in wagon) but there are plenty of parts available. The 900 series was the last of the rear wheel drive volvos. I cannot express how true this car feels to drive. We’ve got over 8k in this car but sadly we need to thin the fleet. I would keep her but my driveway is starting to look crowded and my house looks like 10 people live here (who love Volvos and Toyotas). I have a reserve so this is about finding the right buyer but given what I am seeing other RWD Volvos sell for it is more than fair. Low miles for the vintage (122,8XX) Because these are not leather seats they are 10x more comfortable and are in great condition (we had another 940 turbo with leather - trust me these are better) Interior has no cracks The paint is great as is the clear coat with the exception of one corner panel (see photos) Replaced in the past 4 years (all work done by local volvo mechanic with 35+ years experience) Timing belt Tires Rotors Breaks Calipers Radiator Transmission (this was done last year) Head unit Speakers Thermostat Pump relay switch PCV Valve Yes, I’ll include the roof rack The so so Remote start works 50% of the time Power locks are a little unpredictable (most likely a easy fix with a fuse) A/C need a recharge at the beginning of each summer so it has to be a SLOW leak.
