Description of 1967 Volvo 122 S |
Production # 220956, Product plate #132441M = 2 door 120 series, B18D Duel Carb/low compression, US export, M40 four speed transmission, Left hand drive, 1967 Interior # 417 515 Awesome Xmas gift for some lucky guy or girl out there. This vehicle was professionally rebuilt. The car originally came with dual Skinners Union HS6 Carbonators and a stock intake/exhaust manifold. Engine, transmission (M40) and suspension were completely disassembled and reassembled using performance aftermarket parts for better reliability. I have over $20K invested in this awesome machine, but it has been sitting in my garage for the last few years.I'm ready to just take the loss and let it go.The odometer shows 38,999, but it does not work. I don't have exact numbers, but I have put less than 200 miles on it since it was rebuilt (2012). I was trying to drive it once a week around town, but its been sitting for a while now. Yesterday I noticed the fluid from the clutch master had seeped out from sitting so long. Time to let her go. I have most of the receipts on hand, but here is a run-down of most of the work done. NEW PARTS: Engine: Redline Weber 38-DGES Carb and Intake Manifold IPD - Patriot Exhaust Headers Custom Built Aluminum Racing Radiator Wilwood Master Cylinder Wilwood Clutch Cylinder Steel Braided Brake Lines IPD Engine Mounts IPD Steering Coupler Odyssey Racing Battery Steering Box Seals
Suspension: Eibach Sport Performance Springs Shocks IPD Poly Bushings throughout the suspension Lower Ball Joints Lower A-Arm Bushing Custom Axel Limiting Straps Brakes: Front Rotor Hubs Fronts Disks Calipers (Rebuilt) Pads Rear Drums/wheel cylinders rebuilt Emergency Brake Cable Interior: Floor Pans (3 of 4) One floor section was good. Leather Seat webbing under seats Seats were reconditioned by the previous owner Modern Seat Belts (I have the originals, but they don't look too safe) Door panels New Kenwood X395 Stereo - USB connectivity for iPhone/ipod. Detachable faceplate. 400 watt Amp Custom Speaker Box with (4) 6x9 Orion Speakers Rattle Trap XXX Sound dampening throughout interior and truck. Whats left? The car has Cragar wheels on the front and imitation Cragars (Rocket Racing Wheels) on the rear. The passenger door needs a new interior door handle. I have the one it came with, but it was stripped when I bought it. One turn signal is not wired. Housing is complete and I got new gaskets for most of the cars lights, but one turn signal is missing wiring. This car is a one of a kind. Besides the fact that there aren't many of them out there, getting parts was a challenge. I purchased the majority of the parts from IPD, Vintage Import Parts, VP Autoparts, Swedish Treasures and Hi Performance Automotive. To see and hear it drive, I uploaded two videos on youtube: http://youtu.be/mtzzUAQr308 http://youtu.be/zOdAKbuesZU I've tried to include as much information as possible about this car. Feel free to ask any questions. The car is for sale locally also. A Few Additional Terms and Conditions:
