1984 Volvo 244 Sedan Blue RWD Manual DL

1984 Volvo 244 DL. Hate to see it go, but HOA forces sale. It’s a beautiful 240 with little left to do. Few minor things and it will be pristine. Of note, the previous owner wired it for a sub as you can see in the trunk there’s an amp back there. I believe the radio head unit has a short, or something even easier. The kenwood says protect, I have used the radio. But it was never a big priority for me to fix. The front seats are in great condition, with one small tear on the drivers seat, the covers are on to protect from the sun. It originally had a/c but the previous owner pulled it for unknown reasons to me. I usually just roll with the windows down. There are two small rust spots on it in the buttcheeks. (Pics to show) and one spot under the hood (also shown). The transmission shifts good. No grinds or popping out of gear. Clutch is in great shape. Since I’ve owned it I changed the oil and trans fluid, replaced the front seals and timing belt, and valve cover gasket. New spark plugs and set the timing. New battery from 2021. I replaced both tail lights. I’ve been told that the running lights don’t work, but I haven’t looked into it, I assume it’s something simple, since most things on this car are. I installed the ac bypass to enable the power steering which works great. The trunk is full of all the extra parts I have for it along with the hitch receiver ball. The odometer doesn’t work but the speedometer does! The b23 that’s in this car is known to run forever, brave little tractor! There are a few spots shown that had paint correction done. I usually forget they are there, but they are pictured. I’m very willing to answer any and all questions or provide specific pictures. This is a driver, I take it to the beach, or drive it daily for errands. It turns heads and always fetches compliments at the gas pump.
