This is a 1987 Volvo 240 / 245 Wagon with a 4-cylinder gasoline engineIt has spent a few months with the volvo mechanic to get any issues sorted out.The AC is freshly renewed, the engine and trans work very well. It starts up quickly and has a good ride.Tires are still 70%Interior is really cleanFront seats do not match the rest of the interior, replacement upholstery is $300
This is a clean car that is perfectly suited to a restoration. The car is already complete and mechanically sound.With paint, a little upholstery (which is easy DIY because the kits just fit perfectly) and a dash cap, this car will look amazing and be a total dream. This caw was always family owned, never modded or altered. A few rust issues at the usual places like at the windshield seal, easily fixed as it is prepped for paint. The carpet is SO good, there is no reason to replace it. The exterior rubber window scrapers need replacement which is easy to do. We changed directions and decided on a different project car after we invested a lot getting this car sorted out.
You could also drive this as is and love it until the end of time. It will reward you with reliable driving :)
I have all the shop records for what we did to it.It needs some bulbs and dashboard electrical but the odometer and speedometer does work. feel free to ask questions or request specific photos.
