I have owned this Jeepster for the last several years and spent lots of money getting it in the condition you see. Entire car inside, outside and engine bay were repainted about 2 years ago. Over $18,000 spent this year alone on the mechanics, chrome parts, and carpeting. I have all receipts. It has the Lightning 6 cylinder engine with overdrive. Car starts easily and runs very well. All gears shift smoothly. Runs down the road straight with no shimmy. Steering box rebuilt. The heater was removed, cleaned and painted but once reinstalled, I have not hooked it back up to the engine because it never gets cold enough in Central Florida. All brakes rebuilt. New Coker tires have less than 500 miles on them. I converted this car to 12 volt with all new wiring harnesses. Transmission has been pulled and serviced. Only thing not properly working are the water temp., ammeter and oil pressure gauges in the instrument cluster. The instrument cluster was totally refurbished and calibrated but the gaugesdon't seem to work even after stepping down the voltage into themto 6 volts. The fuel gauge does work properly. I added an aftermarket gauge set and mounted them in the glove box where they are not visible until the glove box door is opened (see photo of gauges at idle speed). The convertible top is in fine condition but there is one small tear in a seam at the back right corner (see photo). Doesn't leak. The drop-in plastic windowsthat are made for this car do not keep the rain out very well. They are poorly made so I only drive the car on a clear day. This car is always garage kept here in sunny, dry Florida. Please come and test drive if you would like. I am willing to assistthe Buyer with loading on a carrier. It also does very well on a tow dolly. Please ask any questions you may have and I will give an honest response.
