Description of 1962 Willys |
As mentioned above this little wagon is in excellent mechanical condition. Everything works as should and it drives amazing. Please be sure and check out the additional photos and video above as there are many more photos showing detailed under carriage, engine bay and paint. The paint is absolutely the only thing this wagon will need eventually. From what I can see it simply was not prepped properly prior to spraying. The hood and right front quarter had large areas of paint just flake off, those have been primed for now. The entire wagon is solid as a rock. It will pass your magnet test for sure, as you will see in all of the photos. You can see the floor repairs from it's previous restoration and they are still solid as can be. All glass is perfect, not even a chip. All glass rubber & felt is in excellent condition. All lights & gauges work as should. The door panels are installed and the rear compartment panels will come with the wagon along with the headliner brackets. Tires are like new, wheels are older chrome that are showing wear. The bumper was extended out as previous owner intended to install a winch but never did. It could easily be shortened if so desired. I honestly do not think the wagon has seen any off road use since it's conversion, and certainly not any prior. Other than the older floor pan repairs, there is absolutely zero rust through on body or frame as can be seen in photos. And also as you can see in the short video, the wagon will get up and go. Trust me it is capable of a lot more than the small burnout in video. As it is set up now, it is honestly more of a cool cruiser than an off road ride, but a simple tire change and go get it dirty if that's your thing! Wagon cranks up first time every time, no engine smoke, zero leaks. Again, please check out all of the additional photos in the slide show above! I tried to include everything, and even close ups of the paint and how it was peeling. I will also be glad to take any additional photos you would like to see and will always reply within 24 hours. While I have not sold many classic vehicles on ebay, they are all exactly as described and have received 100% positive reviews as you will see on my profile. If there is an area on the wagon I did not show that you would like to see, or simply need more info please just ask, nothing to hide here. A $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of winning auction. ABSOLUTELY no bidders with 0 feedback unless you message me first. Your bid will be deleted otherwise. I am also happy to assist in booking a shipper if needed. The reserve has been set well below NADA Average values for this vehicle. This was only done due to the non professional paint job. If it does not meet reserve, I will repaint and do it right, and adjust price accordingly. Everything else on this little wagon is rock solid and ready to roll! Good luck and good bidding! |
