This 1947 thisWillys Jeepster came from the same Georgia estate sale at which I also purchased a 1957 Chevy, currently listed on E Bay with NO RESERVE. The Willys came with absolutley no information or history. It is selling at NO RESERVE. . SO I invite you to come to Bolingbroke, Georgia and do your own inspection. Please remember it is selling NO RESERVE.It is missing a radiator and is not running, and I have made no effort to start it. I thought these came with a flathead engine, this one has an overhead 4, a friend told me he thought it was a Pinto engine, plus the steering column is operated by a double sided square key, like a Ford key.Jeepsters were the last true American made 2 door phaetons. It comes with 4 side curtains and a tonneau cover. With the existing paint scheme it might have been a Shriners car. Imagine what a fun beach cruiser or whatever you want it to be. REMEMBER IT IS SELLING WITH NO RESERVE.I would like a $500 Pay Pal deposit with the balance in 10 days or less,Balance may be cash, check, or wire, do not plan on picking up the car until check has had time to clear.. I will store the car outside but under cover for up to 3 weeks, THANKS Please send al those interesting questions. On Oct-01-20 at 10:44:17 PDT, seller added the following information: THURSDAY 10/1/2020 I have had several calls and E f mails concerning the year and VIN of the jeep. Found the vin,, it is on a support bracket from the firewall to the glove box frame. THE LPATE LISTS THE MODEL NUMBER AS 83450480 which is what I had on the bill of sale from my purchase. My book of serial numbers show that number coincides withe 1947 Jeep numbers. You will receive a Georgia certificate of registration with that number and it will call the Jeep a 1947 Willys Jeepster. While I was hunting the vin,, I was all over and under the car, it is very dirty on the bottom but also pretty solid, floors look good, drivers side rocker has some filler. The left front wheel well housing has been slightly modified to accept the end of the steering box. Both doors shut tight and firmly. Thanks The rear apron on which the spare is sitting and the body panel beneath it are very good. REMEMBER IT IS NO RESERVE AND YOUR INSPECTION IS WELCOMED.. tHANKS
