AM. 304, auto, posi, black Levis interior. Engine has been replaced with an overhauled 1974 304. Carb rebuilt, many new parts(hoses, filters, seals, gaskets, waterpump, etc). This cars stripes on the side read National Engineering Racing Team and are red, I was told that two of the AMXs were striped this way and used as promotional vehicles that showed up at racing events AMC may have sponsored. Previous owner blacked them out with flat black paint because he said it drew unwanted attention from police. Wheel flares were gone when I purchased car but can see their outline where they were when viewing car up close. I do not have them but a gentlemen called me on the car and gave me his number for those parts. He wants $450 for the set and it includes front spoiler. I will pass his number to winning bidder. This car runs and drives fine. Brakes mildly soft. Drivers door needs new bushings as it sags. There are some curb dings in a couple of the original wheels, tires are very nice. Hood pictured is damaged at corners from hinges not being oiled properly and previous owner(s) putting lifting pressure on it. It still latches but I have since removed the hinges so it sits flat in the back. Unless you are a skilled body man it will be a hard fix for hood corners, a good used hood would probably be easier to find, like one off an Eagle. I removed AC condensor, it has a crack that needs weld. I also have not put AC compressor back on as I don't like all the clutter under the hood. I will put all removed AC peices in the hatchback for buyer to do with as he/she pleases. Miles say 64200 but are probably 164200. I had a problem uploading engine pics but more can be seen by going to Los Angeles Craigslist and punching in AMC. All CA. fees paid and title in my name.
