Description of 1961 Austin Healey Sprite

This Austin Healey is fully restored and ready to go racing. This car has a frame off restoration done about 5 years ago which included a full underbody coating and a first class paint job with a bright white racing stripe. The engine was upgraded from the standard 948 cc to a CJ1275 with noemissions devices and the front brakes were up graded to disc brakes. The interior was restored with racing seats and steering wheel and era correct racing mags were added with Pirelli race tires. The car ran a few privaterally races and the owner mothballed the car during a divorce. It sat in storage for 2 years when I found it and bought it.
Ifinished the restoration with thefollowing: rebuild thegenerator, eplace the voltage regulator, eplace the starter, eplace the entire wiring in the car, rebuild thecarburetors, eplace the battery, eplace both front end shocks, eplacesuspension bushings and fulcrums (tie rods), eplace mastercylinder and a new brake job, eplace spark plugs & wires, eplace transmission linkage, eplace the u-joints, oat interior of gas tank, eplace the ignition switch, nd repair/replace all of the interior switches which were removed for the racecircuit. I bought a brand new top which has never seen sunlight and a new car dust cover. I made sure that the headlights, urn signals, orn, emp gauge, il pressure gauge, nd fuel gauge worked. Once the car was road ready, changed all the fluids and took her for a 75 mile drive. She runs like new and is a perfect mix of race track and road car. She loves third gear and roars to life from 25 to 60 miles anhour like a goodrally car should. The oil pressure sits at 60 psiand the temp rides at about 195 unless you are burning through the gears which causes it to climb to about 205 degrees.
So what's left to do? The driver's side carpet is loose and the driver's side door needs a new seal. The slave cylinder forthe clutch works fine but could be replaced if you want totrulyrally race her. That's it.
