Beck 550 Spyder 001 for saleThis is the first production Beck Spyder made. There is a letter from Chuck Beck to confirm. Sold by Beck in October 1983 to A. R. Miller. San Diego. CA. "The Renaissance Man" (see 356 Registry #31-1 from 2007). The vehicle remained in the family ever since. From 1983 to 1989 this Beck was completed using many Porsche parts. Including a Porsche 356 engine (1600cc) and Porsche 356 drum brakes. It is registered as a 1955 Porsche with a clear CA title. - all paperwork. photos and history from NEW - non-painted. red Gel coated body work. only the very first cars came like that - unstamped Porsche 356 engine (type 616/36) - custom made exhaust system - dual master brake cyl. - Porsche 356 drum brakes- 12 Volt system with Optima battery - European headlights - wooden Less Leston "LL" steering wheel - Porsche 356 style wheels (5. 5x15) - blue plates "550 SPDR" See the video and ask for additional photos if needed. Title allows the car to be exempt from emissions inspection and eligible for historic license plates in California. This may not apply to other states. Buyer is responsible for knowing the title/registration/emissions laws for their state. Potential buyers may inspect/drive the car by arrangement during any day of the auction time frame. Arrangement should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Any costs to inspect/drive the vehicle must be paid by the prospective buyer. nbsp;buying or not buying the vehicle.
