Description of 1961 Buick LeSabre

4-Door Bubbletop 364cubic inch Wildcat "Nail-head" V8 Shockwave Air Suspension up front w/ bags in rear. Dual 12-15Amp compressors with valves wired to four 2-way switches. Each bag controlled independently. Interior: All original (needs redone). Gobs of space inside for small parties or office meetings. Seats need redone but have "Indian blankets" covering them now. Original AM radio was inspected. repaired and cleaned to factory condition 4 years ago by an FCC licensed radio guy in Arizona. I installed a new-in-box 1970s-80s era FM radio tuner so you can get TV and FM bands. Exterior: This solid 54 year old car has never been wrecked. No dents or dings. I bet this car was built from scrap metal from Sherman tanks and mothballed battleships. Is currently in white primer. Chrome is all original. I added fender skirts. Drive shaft rebuilt and modified center bearing support with an added scrape plate for low riding. Has a 65Amp alternator. No major rust. Floors solid. no rust through. Flamethrower coil & ignition (no points). Car drives great. Nice low cruiser ride. 3rd Owner.
