Description of 1984 Cadillac Eldorado |
| I am selling my 1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible. Hatteras Blue with white convertible top and white interior. It looks good. as it was repainted a few years ago with the original color because the paint was beginning to fade. The Biarritz badge was removed for paint and never stuck back on but it is in the glove compartment along with alot of the original paperwork. There is a dent on the trunk. as well as other minor imperfections in the paint. The convertible top works great. as do the front power windows - the rears are tempermental. It runs good. very reliable and always a comfortable ride in a Cadillac. The transmission linkage may need to be adjusted; it goes into every gear without any issues but the positioning is off (for example you will be in Drive but the indicator arrow on the dashboard says its in Neutral or 3) or you can just drive it as-is like I do. It is not a perfect show or museum car. but rather a very nice driver where you can turn the key and cruise around with the top down. I have other vehicles for daily use so I don't drive it as much as I would like to so I would rather see it go to a good home than sit in my garage unused.
