'74 Corvette Convertible. Triple black. sounds and drives great. This was the last year for the true dual exhaust. so the engine really sounds nice. Car has been upgraded to a Bowtie Overdrive. which makes it easy to drive on the expressway. Classic muscle car with modern drivability. Car is a real attention getter. and everyone loves it. Starts and runs great. ready for the cruise nights and weekends. Car is not perfect. there are a few blemishes in the paint. and the AC is not working. The AC is complete with all the hoses and belts. but it has not worked since I owned it the last 2 years. Might be a simple fix. but who needs AC with that convertible top anyway. I believe this car would be a good investment. especially being a Corvette convertible. prices will only go up as the years go on. This car has never been neglected or wrecked. so it is in good condition. Fine print: I would rather sell this car face to face and do not want to get into any third party payment scheme. Come down and drive this car. and you will like it. If you do want to have the car shipped I can help load the car on this end after the payment has cleared. On Nov-24-14 at 13:31:41 PST. seller added the following information:To answer a couple of questions that have been asked. the engine is the original matching numbers engine. Black is not the original color. the car was originally metallic red. A previous owner liked black better. the car looks great in black. I have the original turbo 400 transmission and will gladly let that go with the car. If you would like to have it. The overdrive is a nice upgrade. if you are going to drive the car. You will enjoy it. There are some flaws in the paint. such as minor scuffs and some bubbles in the paint on the hood. The car looks great going down the road. but it is not perfect. The bumpers are from a 1975. changed out years ago when the car was repainted black. A lot of guys like the 1975 bumpers better than the 1974 with the vertical split in the rear bumper.
