Description of 1977 Chevrolet Corvette coupe

If your going to place a bid atleast be honest. A bidder known as Sally_atkins likes to play the shill biddingI Beware of their tactics and block them. So once again I will put up for sale my 1977 L 48 Corvette Coupe 350 cu in 190 hp Automatic. PS. B. Automatic windows. tinted. Am Fm Radio and Rear defroster and cold air. Color is Yellow with Sable brown Interior and of course T-tops. Interior in excellent condition. Tires are GoodYear Eagle RT and have less than 1. 00 miles on them This Corvette has only 39. 20 original miles and is in showroom condition. It was purchased at Mosser Chevrolet in Maryland for $8. 48. 00 with all factory options. It was bought new by a Doctor who passed away and his son got it and when he went to medical school I bought it. So I guess that makes me the 3rd owner. Everything is like new and not a mark on the body. I had it repainted in 1998 only because the paint was a low luster color called Daytona yellow. It was NEVER wrecked!. It was repainted by a man named Terry Hammel who was part of Bobby LaBontes Nascar team. He calls it his creation of Austrailian Yellow. It took 3 years to complete and still looks like the day it was repainted. It was taken down to the hair of the fiberglass and sealed with 6015 bonded sealer. 3 coats of base coat primer. 4 coats of base coat paint. and 4 coats of base coat clear coat. There was a 30 day dry and hand blocked for perfection between each process. That is why it took 3 years. If you had this done today it would cost about 12 to 15 thousand dollars easy. This is a showroom condition Corvette and is not your everyday driver car and you will see why when you look at it. In the beginning it mostly went to car shows and that turned into an obsession. now its just a keep sake. In fact it took 2 best of shows just last month. It has many many awards and trophies. 6 Best of Show. 38 1st place. 18 2nd place. 1 3rd place. and placed 5th in a concourse class in Carlisle. Pa. It was also given an 8th place recognition among some 1. 00 other corvettes that were in competition. It was featured in Classic and Antique Auto magazine in 2003. And a local Newspaper known as the Altoona Mirror in Altoona. Pa. I'm retired now and the only reason for selling is we travel a lot and its sad to see it stay covered. It time to let someone with the same interests enjoy it as I have for all these years. Remember this is about to be 38 years old yet runs and looks like new. Its always been garaged and has never seen snow and maybe rain 2x. Also remember there are more awards and trophies that will not fit in this Corvette. so keep that in mind. You have questions? Or need any other information free leave a message or email. anytime. Once I receive a deposit and you come to get it. If you believe its not what I say it is I will give you your money back. no questions asked. Take a look and judge for yourself. You will not be disappointed of its performance and showing. it turns heads. Please make note. this Corvette is also advertised locally and the bidding could end without notice. On a personal note. Believe me when I say you can find a 77 for a lot less money but then you would be buying junk. Low book wholesale is $12. 00. Average trade is $15. 00 and High end is $20. 00 . This Corvette needs nothing. Look at some that are on Ebay that have scratches. dents cracks. worn carpet. seats dirty motor and so so tires. leaks and needs paint and a lot of work. . This is about as good as it gets if your looking for that prize posession. Remember what I said. " If its not what I say it is. I will refund your deposit" No questions asked. Email ---Yellovette77@aol. com. Good luck on the bidding.
