This 3-Door 4x4 Suburban would be a fabulous beginning to your winter project. Recently. this truck has had new bushings in the front springs and the Eaton rear end was rebuilt. This unit has dual batteries. both brand new. The drivetrain consists of a 383 stroker with 4 barrel carb which runs great and has plenty of power. a Muncie 465 4-speed manual transmission. and an NP205 transfer case. The front end is a Dana 44 with an axle truss and the rear is an Eaton. both running 4. 10 gears. An MSD ignition unit has been added. It is also set up for water injection but it's never been used. An oil filter relocation kit makes oil changes easier. The truck has two gas tanks. one of which is mounted in the rear cargo area. The interior was nicely redone many years ago. The door panels and rear side panels are in excellent shape as are the front bucket seats. The carpet is not worn but is quite dirty. The front seat belts are three point shoulder belts. The factory tach is working along with all factory gauges except for the water temp gauge. The plastic bezel around the gauges is in poor condition and should be replaced. The factory full length roof A/C is in working condition. The 285/75R16 tires have tons of tread left. Although the quarter panels. rockers. and lower doors are quite rusty. the body mounts and floor appear to be in good condition. The super heavy duty bumpers house auxiliary lights and a Warn 6000 lb winch. I have tried to describe as much as possible the good and the bad with this Suburban. but I may have missed some of both. I purchased this with the intent of a restoration but the wife said no way. The previous owner had this Suburban since 1992 and it was well taken care of by him.
