1991 Chevrolet S-10 short Bed . 454, Automatic with Posi. This truck was just completed, near frame up restoration. This truck has been gone through from the front bumper bolts to the tag lights. The drive train is a 1976 454 with 781 heads and a mild cam and holley carb, the transmission is a B&M Streetfighter TH400 and the rear is a 10 bolt with new limited slip/posi with 4:10 gears. The truck was taken down to the cab shell. The body was disassembled, The frame was stripped, cleaned, sealed and painted. All new front and rear suspension parts: Center link, tie rods, idler arm, rear leaf springs as well as front and rear shocks. Steel wheels all the way around 15"X8" rears and 15"X4" Speedway fronts. The tires are 235/75/15 rear and 165/80/15. The rims were stripped, epoxy sealed then painted with base coat clear coat and installed with new lugs. The hubcaps are stock 1985 S-10 Dog Dish. The Front and rear bumpers are new with new hardware. The body panels are all steel factory parts except the hood which is a fiberglass 2" cowl. The body and cab were completely disassembled and all glass was removed. Any and all rust was cut out, replaced and repaired then sealed and painted. After the body work was completed the inside sections were sealed and painted with base coat/clear coat. The body was then reassembled, sealed and several coats of base coat/clear coat were applied. The bed is Raptor Lined. The body color is 2017 Hyundai Sunset Canyon Copper. All the glass was cleaned and reinstalled with new weatherstrip/rubber as well as new weatherstrip throughout. New door handles and A/C Delco door locks were also installed. The interior has new carpet, headliner and freshly reupholstered seat. The engine is a 1976 454 with large oval port heads, Holley carb and a mild RV hyd camshaft, it also has a flame thrower electronic ignition and full flowmaster exhaust to the rear bumper. The radiator is new Aluminum two row with 1" tubes it is 31"X16" with new dual electric fans and new molded hoses. All heater and fuel hoses are also new. The alternator, battery, cables and belt are new. The truck has manual steering, the shaft has been fabricated/relocated to accommodate the big block, also a torque strap has been added from the frame to the motor. The heater box in the engine bay has also been nicely modified to clear the engine. I tried to maintain a stock look under the hood even retaining the factory S-10 air filter and core support air pick up. The transmission is a B&M Street fighter Turbo 400 with fresh fluid and filter change also has new lines from the transmission to the radiator. The rear is a 10 bolt with new 4:10 gears, bearings and a fresh limited slip/posi unit, Lucas oil topped with a new finned aluminum cover. There are so many new pieces on the truck there is no way I could remember all of them. The bottom line is, this is a very clean big block s-10 that someone will really enjoy. A lot of attention to detail was taken and it shows. This is not a show truck, but is is one of the cleanest S-10's you will find anywhere. It looks like it came this way from the factory. If you are going to take it to the track and put Caltracs and slicks on it, you will need to upgrade the rear. The way the truck is set up now the tires will break loose before anything breaks..It is tagged and registered. I thought I would see if there was any interest in it. Clear Florida title in my name. Everything works as it should on the truck except the speedometer. . Feel free to drop me an email with any questions or pictures of your trade. I will not sell this truck to any inexperienced drivers. Have 100s of pictures on request.
