1955 Chevy 2 dr. Utility Wagon 150 Rare Gasser Rat Rod

A Rare 150 utility wagon. these cars did not come with any side or window trim.this car was originally dark green with light green roof.V8. it has a 68 327 in it,3 speed manual

this car was previously stored in a barn since 1980.Alot of New parts were installed to put this time capsule back on the road.

New clear coated gas tank,stainless straps,send unit,filler neck,fuel pump,All reproduction Gas lines.Brake lines,wheel hardware,Wheel cylinders,Brake shoes.front wheel bearings.Master cylinder.All New Emergency brake System,New front and Back cables,pulleys etc. New hood bird,emblems,mirror,carpet seal plate.the Seats were professionally covered prior 1980 and kept in house.the front seat is actually a 57 front seat.both front n back are great shape.No headliner,it had to be removed,all the original bows are there.it has the Original Plywood in cargo area,with the original jack sticker still on it.the car is from California,the entire back end is rust free,never rusted,the cargo are, tailpan.the inner rockers are rusted,the previous owner put outer rocker's and lower front quarter panel sections on top of the originals,with no chrome strip on side to hide the top edge. That's the way it was done Back in the day,and still now,but there is hardly any body filler so its very wavy,on the back of the quarters and old fashioned bady work on doors.its still a Very solid 55.the entire front end really shows it LA. heritage,under side of fenders are nice.has good radiator,firewall is nice no rust or damage,same with dash,no cuts or dents,just very old paint,from 70's.its true time capsule.this is how we used to go to drive in movies in cars like this

All lights work,gas guage,radio does not,heater does not work.it has never been removed from car,complete

has 327 250hp corvette motor,6qt. factory oil pan.motors down the road like they used to.plenty of power.the transmission is tricky getting it in 1st gear,half to knowthe right spot.round 4-8 mph then it slides right into first,it will take off in 2nd gear no problem.it needs that 4 speed you have sitting in the corner of the gararge.that's what this car is all about.you can drive it,while you tinker with it,make into what ever you want while you drive it

All the lights on the car work.turn signals cancel as they should,horn works,glove box,has electric wipers.New wiper arms,blades,and bezels

The radio and heater do not work. The steering wheel is from a 59. The one bumper guard on the rear bumper is from a 56

The passenger door glass has crack.All the rest of the glass,isreal nice.it has all the original rubber seals around the glass and there not cracked
