Description of 1951 Chevrolet Express

Barn find 1951 Chevrolet 2 door Fleetline Deluxe. 216 6 Cylinder inline. Manual trans. This car runs and has had engine work and block is painted in its entirety. may have been rebuilt. not sure. Carb and fuel lines appear replaced and rebuilt. We ran this and it idled nice even though it has been sitting for who knows how long. Switched to 12 volt with new alternator. brakes have been redone. and new master cylinder. Pedal holds pressure and it has new lines underneath. This car runs. and stops. we have not added fuel to tank or inspected it. Does not appear rusty. This car has solid inner and outer rockers. solid body mount brackets Quarter panels are nice as are lower fenders. For some reason the front floor pans rusted out and the rears did not. Trunk floor has some rust but the bottom of spare tire well is still intact. Needs left fender repair and the left door needs replacement. This a really complete old car and a really great place to start on a great looking patina or barn find rod. Low rider. Awesome fast back look. These are getting harder to come by and look really cool. This does not have a TITLE. Comes with bill of sale only. You are responsible for pick-up or shipping arrangements.
