Description of 1967 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport

This is an unmolested numbers matching 1967 Chevrolet Super Sport convertible with the rare option combination of 275 HP 327, Munci four-speed, factory air conditioning, tinted glass, power steering and power brakes. This is a ONE OWNER, garage kept vehicle with all the original paperwork including dealer invoice, bill of sale and build sheet from Wilmington, DE plant. Also included is original Owner’s Manual, Convertible Top Manual and 1967 Custom Feature Optional Accessories booklet; all inside the original plastic protector. The successful bidder will receive clear New Jersey title.

The body was originally Solero Red (now blue) with white convertible top (now black). It maintains its original black interior with Super Sport badging, center console, bucket seats and factory perfect dash pad. The untouched engine runs super quiet with original Quadrajet carb delivering serious power for the day. The 4-speed shifts effortlessly behind a recently installed clutch and resurfaced flywheel with new ring gear. Along the way, the stock shifter was replaced with a Hurst Competition Plus. Front suspension and steering is tight and smooth even at freeway speeds. Stock size wheels & tires are dressed with factory original SS wheel covers. New top with glass window recently installed.

The car has experienced zero accidents. The body is straight and solid with the exception of a few spots, small dings as shown in the pictures. Note the arrow straight panel lines. The paint is a tired version of a franchise provided re-spray. The trunk has a fist-size rust through as pictured. Rear floors are solid as are rockers. Front floor pans are rusted at the GM oval panel inserts. The right side rust extends into the toe rest (see the pics). These are easy patch repairs for the experienced body man or purchase panel replacements through Chevy restoration parts dealers. All chrome and stainless is present as original. The bumpers are solid and damage free. Jack and accessories included. Lights work as designed.

This car is a great driver “as is” and an excellent candidate for a reasonably priced restoration. Message me for more pictures of interior, body and paperwork.
