This Deep Red '55 Chevy 3100 recently arrived to our showroom and is ready for the Spring car shows and cruise-ins! I purchased it from a guy who had recently acquired it from a gentleman who had it for the past 7 years. He was a Good Guys car club member and loved driving this classic to car shows and cruise-ins in the spring and summer months. Before him it was a California truck that had received a professional restoration about 10 years ago. This classic Chevy pick up was built to be driven and enjoyed! It has a great restomod stance and look, that turns heads wherever it goes. It is a joy to drive with a powerful 350 V, automatic with overdrive, power steering, power disc brakes and cold air conditioning. These Chevrolet 3100's have been one of the hottest trucks in the collectible car market with values continuing to rise. I will do my best to provide enough large images, a video of it running and an honest description to help you decide if this one should be in your garage! As with all of my classics I do have this truck advertised on my website and several others. If you want to scoop it up before the next car guy or gal does, feel free to call me to discuss how we can make that happen. I am also a licensed transport broker and can assist the buyer with a great rate on enclosed transport anywhere in the US. I also welcome overseas buyers and can assist in getting this truck to the port of your choice. Sit back and enjoy!!!

As mentioned above, according to the previous owner this '55 is believed to have spent much of its life in California and was a very solid truck prior to restoration. It was restored approximately 10 years ago and the paint and body still look excellent. Overall paint quality is extremely nice and this truck will be welcome at the local shows and cruise-ins and should take home its share of trophies. I am not sure the exact color code but I would call it a bright, deep red and it really pops in the sunshine! This truck is all steel and overall body panel fit is excellent and the body is nice and straight. Doors open and shut nicely and line up very well. This truck has been driven a fair amount since the time of restoration and does have some minor blemishes including a few paint chips that have been touched up, a few minor bubbles on the lower edge of the passenger door, and a few other small blems that definitely do not stand out or take away from the overall beauty of this truck. All of the chrome trim, front grille and bumper look great. Weather stripping was replaced at time of restoration and still looks great. All of the glass is in great condition, nicely tinted, and windows roll up and down nicely. Beautiful dark wood bed with stainless steel strips. Fuel tank was moved below the bed area and a nice fuel filler cap was neatly placed in the rear bed area. Overall, as I think you will see in the walk around tour of the body below, this red beauty still looks fantastic and you will be proud to show it off!

Complimenting the gorgeous bright deep red exterior is a really nice custom tan leather interior. The seat is a split bench seat that is soft, supple leather and very comfortable showing minor signs of wear. It has a nice fold down center arm rest with cup holders. Custom door panels and headliner to match. GM tilt steering column allows drivers of all sizes to be comfortable in this spacious cab and a new Billet Steering wheel matches the interior nicely. Aftermarket gauges in the dash all appear to be working correctly with the exception of the temperature gauge so a new temp. gauge was added under the dash. Odomoter reads just under 29,500 miles which is believed to be the mileage put on this truck since the restoration about 10 years ago. Nice Alpine am/fm/CD player was neatly mounted in the dash with speakers mounted in the kick panels and door panels. Vintage Air conditioning blows nice and cold and heat works as well for those of you living in the colder climates. Seat belts are installed as well. Just a really comfortable and clean interior to enjoy while cruising in this sweet '55...check it out:

This '55 3100 was definitely built to be driven and has a very strong, nicely built 350 V8 under the hood with just under 29,500 miles on it. Nice polished Edelbrock performer intake with Edelbrock 4bbl carburetor feeds the fuel to this classic. I would estimate horsepower at about 280-300 hp which moves this truck down the road with ease. Slight cam and great tone from the dual exhaust that exits out the sides in front of the rear wheels with a nice set of headers as well. Smooth shifting 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive which is perfect for highway cruising. The strong 12 bolt rear end houses a set of highway friendly gears. Steering is a breeze thanks to the Nova front clip with power steering and stopping is a breeze thanks to the power front disc brake set up. Suspension is nice and tight with front stabilizer bar, skyjacker rear shocks and a nicely lowered stance. Engine bay is nicely detailed and smoothed out with stainless firewall panels. Undercarriage is nice and clean with no rust issues. The 20' deep dish Ridler wheels really set this truck off with brand new 255/35/20 front tires and rears with plenty of tread. This '55 rides beautifully at all speeds and sounds great doing it. Make sure you watch the video that follows the pics below to hear this truck start up and running.
