Description of 1967 Chevrolet C-10 short box step side

This is a great late winter or early spring quick project. This truck already starts. uns and drives and stops so the hard part is not a problem. This is a one owner truck that was bought new by the Oregon State University and was used by their forestry department. to haul flowers and plants around campus. It appears to have its original paint and interior. It is a radio delete truck with the original block off plate. The miles look to be original at 24835 but nobody working there still that could remember. so no way to verify. It starts right up and shifts through the gears. The emergency brake even works. This would be a great shop truck or a candidate for a RAT ROD resto-mod. Lower it and put four wheel disc brakes and a late model drive train in it and hit the streets. It took 47 plus years of this truck sitting in the North West Pacific climate to create this Patina. This truck is perfect in every way!! The frame is very clean and the only thing it needs is a new wood kit for the bed floor. Kits are under $200. 00 . The rest of the truck is super solid. I have an original rust free CHEVROLET tailgate that I just had painted. It as a RUST FREE tailgate. It will go with the truck and I will install it tomorrow and take another picture. If someone needs any specific pictures You can call me at 269-317-7349. My name is Brad. You can text also. I can send pictures to your cell phone. I have had several people ask if this is a three speed or a four speed. This is a 4 SPEED on the floor truck. It is cast in the GM transmission. The valve cover gasket need replaced. We have power washed the engine compartment and motor/transmission and the original light green factory paint is on the firewall as well as the GM orange engine paint. Again SPEED on the FLOOR!!! $$$$ Pretty rare option in a half ton. On Mar-10-15 at 08:29:43 PDT. seller added the following information:Several people have asked if the 4-speed transmission will bolt up to a small block chevy motor. YES it will bolt up to and work with your small block chevy motor.
