Description of 1968 Chevrolet Camaro

built for power. torque. and show this 540 big block will put you in your seat! Loaded with chrome B&M 871 blower with 2 Holly 750 4 barrel double pumpers. aluminum heads. driven by a 2 speed powerglide. moser rear end with 4/11 gears. willwood disc brakes all the way around. body is rust free. dent free. in perfect shape with all body work and paint done by professional shop and all gaps are perfect. interior is also in great shape with new carpet. ( i would like to say interior is original but I'm not 100% positive) all weather stripping has been replace. all chrome molding on outside is brand new. mickey thompson 26X6. 00R15LT on front and douglas P255/60R15 on rear. 10 gallon fuel cell in trunk with Aeromotive A100 fuel pump. this motor runs off of a MSD high fire system MSD6AL. front springs chopped to lower car. all new front end built with quality parts for a safe ride. Cooled with a Be Cool radiator. Be Cool special coolant. and 2 electric push fans. This car has been in storage the last 3 years and is dusty. The carbs need new gaskets and leak from sitting. the odometer stopped at 64. 00. the only thing wrong with this car is the transmission does not have 2nd gear. i was told it was the torque converter. with a bit of transmission work and a carb rebuild the car is barret jackson auction ready. I have in hand an appraisal paper for value at $63. 00. This car could be bought and fixed cheap and resold for a hefty turn around. since this motor was put in this car it has been driven MAYBE 50 miles and has had a total of MAYBE 2-3 hours of run time for tuning. My father and I built this car from ground up and finished it enough for him to hear it run before he died. I have a family now and no time to work on it and with the power it has (estimated 1000 hp) I do not feel ok putting my kids in it or anywhere around it. It is a beautiful car and i hate to sell it but i would like to see someone who can enjoy the white knuckle ride actually get to drive it. its a rush and will miss it dearly but will take the awesome memories me and my father had building it and keep it at that. i have alot of pictures of this car and almost every step of the rebuild and many receipts from parts and work. i will provide as much information as i can to anyone interested. I require $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction end and payment in full no later than 3 days after auction end in form of cash. cashiers check. or personal check (check must completely clear the bank before pick up). Pick up is buyers responsibility.
