Description of 1956 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100 |
| Classic 1956 Body fitted to a modern C-10 truck Chassis. I purchased this truck as you see. it was not in use for several years. we towed it to our shop. installed a new battery and new brake components. Has. a Late 70's early 80's C-10 1/2ton GM chassis with coil spring front and leaf spring rear. 350 engine with TH350 transmission. . Has power steering and power brakes. Runs and drives good. Has the desirable big back window. Decent body. has had some work in the past but not bad. Older paint still shiney with some chips and scratches. no damage. Chrome and bumpers need cleaned up or replated. Truck drives nice. Tires were dry rotted so I installed the wheels pictured but they belong to a different truck I'm working on so I will install good used tires on the aluminum rims that were on this truck prior to delivery.
