Description of 1941 Chevrolet Other Pickups |
| This 1941 Chevrolet modified 4X4 pickup. I have owned for about 3 years now and I'm the 3rd owner after the rebuild. It's an original all steel 1941 Chevrolet pickup truck body and frame but a 1984 Chevrolet S10 running gear has been installed. The original engine has been replaced with the 2. 6 liter 6 cylinder gasoline engine. and the S10. 5 speed manual transmission and transfer case has been installed as has the S10 rear end there for the 4X4 conversion. I was told the donor S10 was a almost new vehicle that was totaled and the mileage was less than 8000 at the time of the original build. The original 1941 dash odometer is currently is 12. 83. When I got the truck it was due for a new paint job and I just completed a $10. 00. 00 Paint job on her. it's beautiful! Runs and drives Great! It gets a lot of attention.
