Description of 1967 Dodge Other Pickups D-100

This breaks my heart .I've had this truck for 11 yrs. I bought it in Messa Az. That's why it has an Az. flag head liner . Brought home a NO RUST truck . The paint was pealing off (this was before letting patina show was cool) so I took it apart.Stripped it to bare metal all but the cab . Painted it 98 Dodge Tor red. Pulled the heads off had stainles, unleaded friendly valves put in . had the heads milled 45 thousands to pick up the compression a bit . Best I figure its some where between 9.0 to 9.5 now. sent the cam away to Isky cams. They reground it to a great high energy mild performance cam. Sounds great real nice lope. Had the solid lifters refaced .Put the only aftermarket intake ever made for the polys on it .A Weiand high rise . an Edelbrock 525 cfm carb.A Mallory Unilite dist. 2.5" straight pipe, Yep it talks real good. I switched out the 3.91 rear gear for a 3.23 gear. Now the speedo is off about 20 percent or so.This truck runs real good .I took the mechanical fan off .Made up a nice pusher electric fan with shroud. It has the good old 3 on the tree .That shifts real wellAs in all old Dodges with the original master cylinders for brakes and clutch . The castings rust out real fast if they set. so after replacing both a couple times . I made a mount to put in a Willwood unit on the clutch side .It has within the last couple years all new brake cylinders .Master Cylinder for both clutch and brake, and a new clutch slave cyl. Its clean as a pin dosent wander stops straight has tons of torque .Its wired to pull a trailer .It has a Reese hitch. I put the tires on all new when I redid it . They are in great shape The bed floor is also in great shape that's why I put the mat in to protect it .The bulk head and tailgate both are likewise in great shape .I just put the diamond plate on to help keep them that way .The seats I bought new years before are leather Ford power lumbar.Temp gauge didn't wor, and it only had an idiot lite for heat .So I put the mechanical gauges under the dash. The fan runs by switch .Don't need it going down the road. . This is a real great driving truck .It has no mechanical issues at all .I redid this truck not to show but to use.And I did.A little, nly a few thousand miles in the years I've owned i, so it has some chips nicks and scratches. The worst of all is a small wrinkle in the driver front finder .(backed onto a short post) and the deivers door has 2 spots of rust that showed up a couple years ago .Both of these issues can be seen in the picks. I did a little custom work to it when I redid it .Filled in where the antenna was. Also made a piece of aluminum tofill in the dash .Kinda looked like someone used a chainsaw to cut a hole for a radio.Removed the Dodge letters on the hood. Made bumperetts out of the original rear bumper. And the spare mount. It has tinted window, came from Az.that way .With the mods I did to the Engine It tows a camper or car on a trailer real well . Don't be afraid of these engines Stock 200 horse power and around 240 pound feet of torque With the mods I did now probably has 240 HP and nearing 300 FP torque or more.Yep that's a guess. But drive new one with those numbers .Then this 48 year old gem .You would agree .I love this old truck .I did it up so as to KEEP IT .Well never say never .Not enough pay checks and too many trucks .Somethings gotta give .And the good ones go first. You can have it shippe, or just take a bus or get a ride .Put gas in it and drive it anyplace you live When I bought it the odometer worked about 3 yrs ago it quite . Last year I put about 150 miles on it the year before aboutthe same. The year before didn't get driven . Of the 11 years Ive owned it, t has set still over 3 years of that .I'm selling it at NO RESERVE .And my research shows I am in the low mid range selling price of a truck in this shape. Want to see and hear it run and drive .Look it up on YouTube ( Dodge Sweptline very cool 318 poly parts 1 and 2 ).So lets recap. I am selling a 1967 Dodge sweptline D-100 pickup. With a 318 Poly that's had a little work done to it . The truck is in great shape . But you are buying it as is were it is . Shipping is all on you. $500.00 due within 48 hrs of auction end. The rest of the $ due within 5 days of auction end .This is a great truck I did everything as to keep it for ever I have almost 12k in the truck myself .My loss is your gain.I'm gona sell a 1959 Airstream in a couple weeks also. Please by all means if you have any questions please ask .I live in northwest Indiana about 25 miles south of the south end of Lake Michigan . Just off I-65 .Thanks for readin, Kent
