Up for Auction is a nice 1973 Dart Sport with Factory Sunroof option
The Dart Sport still has its original paint and never been a apart or in an accidentBought new At Dodge City of Aniston AL where it spent its life until I purchased a few years backRare Convertriple option(see Below)225 slant six3 speed manual on floor69,000 miles showing- It starts right up - I have driven around the block buts that about it(it has been sitting for over 10 years)Gauges workWater pump/alternator newGas tank was removed and flushedI had a small passenger side front floor patch panel professional installed
small rust spot behind rear driver wheel (see pic)The under side is rock solid- original with no under coatinginterior is in good shape for being 40 years old, ut is a bit fade, oor panels, ack seat are goodFront seat is not original Came out of 73 4 door but original is included and will need to be partially recoveredCarpet is shot along with original shocks( a bit boncey)I did find a build sheet under rear seat but was torn and fraying (will include)owners manual along with a few receipts are in glove boxAll in all it is a nice unmolested, olid car that is complete - Would make a easy restore project, r with a little work would be a nice Survivor Car/ or convert to V8 4 speed

For 1973 and 1974, he "Convertriple" option on the Dart Sport included a fold-down rear seat/security panel offering 6ft 5in (1.96m) of lengthwise space, nd a manually operated metalsunroof.[36]It was advertised as "Three Cars In One": an economy compact, convertible alternative because of the sunroof, nd a roomy station wagon alternative because of the fold down rear seat.[37][38]

1975 Hang 10

The Convertriple was the basis for the 1975 "Hang 10" option.[39]It was aimed atsurfersin an attempt by Dodge marketers to better determine consumer preferences in a declining performance market.[40]Hang tenis a surfing expression for balancing at the end of a surfboard with ten toes over the nose of the board while riding the wave. Available only in Eggshell White exterior with a factory-installed sunroof, he car's fold-down rear seat permitted the loading of a surfboard through the trunk. The Hang 10 option continued the surfing theme with various colored stripe material accenting the white vinyl seats and door panels.[41]Orangeshagcarpet covered the back of the fold-down rear seat while the dash and center console had orange accents.[41]Red and blue exterior stripes started at the quarter panels with a wave-riding surfer graphic.
