Description of 1968 Dodge Charger Clone R/T

First of all i have to drop a few disclaimers about this car:
I have a title in hand and I built this car to my personal Specs as I never (and kinda dont) intend on selling it. I would prefer a Private sale BUT I welcome any and all questions as every inch of this car was custom made and I have several hundred photographs and every single receipt from this car's beginning to end. This car took two years to create and was completely replaced every piece of old rotten steel was removed and this car has zero rust anywhere.
No it is not PERFECT and No it is not a "real" R/T but i will explain everything about what it is vs. what it isnt. So first thing is I will tell you all of the bad things right up front. There is a small crack in the body where the passenger door closes on the top edge of the rail (photo is included) this is a very common thing to happen with second-generation chargers and really there was nothing I could do to avoid having this happen but depending on what a buyer were to think about making a purchase it's possible have this fixed. The second problem is that the fuel sending unit inside of the tank has gone bad and as a result the gas gauge doesn't work so it was unplugged but as a remedy to this I have a brand-new in the box fuel sending unit that goes with the car which I have yet to install but if a buyer were to be serious enough this could also be remedied.
This Car began as a dream project for me in 2012 and was finished in 2014 after long hours of hard work and sweaty labor.
I first built it with a very strong 440 which has since been replaced with another .030 over 440 from a custom engine builder in the Midwest. The custom motor that I bought and put into thiscar was done so as a short block because I had so many upgrades left over such as aluminum heads from 440 source, and original Weiand plane aluminum intake, high-performance camshaft, windage tray, 26 inch aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, original HP exhaust manifold's that go into a full 2 1/2 inch exhaust system with crossover from TTI exhaust and reproduction tips and many other engine/ drivetrain upgrades. The rear end is a 489 case (bigger pinion) with a 3:91 suregrip rear.
I decided to go all out with the transmission and made a purchase from SST transmissions in Tennessee for a full Tremec TKO 600 5 speed with overdrive, hydraulic clutch and custom-made driveshaft. I bought the extra options of having a pistol grip shifter instead of the standard ball type for 1968.
the suspension is a fully redone super front end kit made with polyurethane bushings from PST as well as the quick ratio Pittman and idler arm set (I still have the original ones that came with the super kit) I also bought the Borgerson 14:1 ratio quick steering box and added a 14 inch grant steering wheel. I bought the Mopar performance frame connectors and welded them and rather than bolted them in for structural stability. I have the superstock rear leaf springs with shackle kit as well as the high torque mini starter. Once completed the entire undercoat of the body has been sprayed with rhino liner to protect everything from scratches or damage.once complete I added the four-wheel power disc brakes that are drilled and slotted with the full power booster from just right brakes. currently the rear wheels are 15 x 8 Magnum 500 wheels with center caps included and the rear tires are 275/60 R15s from Mickey Thompson and the front are 15 by 7's Michelin's from Coker tire.
The interior was redone with a classic dash kit and full auto meter phantom White face gauges, high-back racing seats were added as well as the new carpet, upper and lower door panels, rear seat upholstery, DashPad, headliner and vinyl top was added. I bought a brand-new air-conditioning unit from vintage air which still blows extremely cold to this day. with the exception of the front windshield all of the glass in this car is original and was factory tinted. I added some 18% film all the way around the car in order to cut down on heat issues here in Florida. I added the matte black bumblebee stripes as well as R/T badging all the way around the car. I have added the electric headlight door conversion from charter specialties to completely eliminate the vacuum pods originally used. I have also added the full LED brake light conversion kit as well as a Bluetooth connected MP3 and CD player.
I have installed my own version ofsecurity system in this car which is a marine grade battery switch which is hidden (requires both keys to start) as well as a heartbreak battery switch in order to ensure that if theft were to occur that it must be done with the tow truck.
I have a lot of extras that will go along with this car such as a reproduction service manual, the original drivers manual, every single original magazine ad from the original Dodge scat pack Dodge fever add for this car framed, and original Chilton's manual for this car (extremely rare), a copy of the charger world magazine which was a dealer promo when this car was first released, custom embroidered floor mats with the charger emblem in them, full second set of keys, padded trunk liner with charger emblem and many extras.
I don't need any help selling this car but I am willing to entertain one and only one possible trade......... an automatic transmission Challenger Hellcat
