Description for Dodge Power Wagon 1953

1953 Dodge military M37 Power Wagon Weapons Carrier ¾ ton pickup with only 7019 miles on the odometer. This is a nice California truck that is running and mechanically ok. No major rust or corrosion. It has been converted from the original 24 volt system. to 12 volt (starter. generator) and has a new 12 volt battery. New brake master cylinder and wheel cylinders. I've also put on new radiator hoses. thermostat. radiator cap. ignition key. starter switch. oil pressure lines. fan belt. spark plugs & wires. front night light covers. The lights need to be checked out. Trans & clutch are fine. The yellow paint is over the original Army O. D. green. It was used by the US Forest Service after the Army. . . that's why it's painted yellow and has a removable roll bar. The engine runs great. starts easily. idles smoothly & quietly…. no smoke. Tires are in fair condition. Dash gauges & speedo are intact. It has all the data plates that match the frame number. No title…. Seller will supply a bill of sale. I'm looking for: non-running M37's and other military vehicles. I'm located in Palm Desert. Calif. (near Palm Springs) just off Hwy 10. You can call me at 714 310 9934 (David). Email: dbcolts@aol. com for pics and questions. I have 6 Dodge trucks in various states of "decay". upto a "no rust" primo original 1968 M37 w/new rebuilt engine. ready to install.
