Description for Ford Mustang 1992

Up for sale is a 1992 Ford Mustang LX that was being built to be a streetable race car - almost a sleeper because it looks stock except for the hood. It's close and doesn't need much to complete whether you take it full race car or full street car. Some of the highlights of the build are :

* 393 Windsor motor ( 351 stroked ) built by B&K Racing North Bloomfield, H

· AFR 185cc aluminum heads

· Proform Race Series 750 carb

· Custom ground Comp Cams camshaft .541 intake / .544 exhaust lift

· Edelbrock Performer lower intake

· 1.6 roller rockers

· Eagle rotating assembly / rods

· JE forged pistons

· 1 ¾" BBK long tube swap headers

· Custom built 3" x-pipe

· 3" dual Flowmaster 3-chamber 50 series Delta Flo mufflers / tailpipes

· Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro tires on rear on factory Pony wheels

· 4.10 posi rear end

· C4 trans with 3200 stall speed convertor ( fresh rebuild )

· Hurst quarter stick pistol grip shifter ( cover not installed in pic )

· Flaming River manual steering rack

· Upper / lower tubular rear control arms

· Switch panel ( electric water pump, lectric fan, orn, ach, gnition )

· Bolt-in subframe connectors

· Interior includes front / rear seats, ash - no roll cage

· Current PA state inspection and registration

· 6" cowl induction hood

Extras that go with the car include :

· GT spoiler

· C4 transmission - useable case and various internals

Some of the items the car needs :

· Heater components and control panel have been removed - should be reinstalled if going the street car route - firewall NOT welded closed

· A/C components removed - should be reinstalled in street car

· Correct oil dipstick installed

· Timing needs checked - when in traffic car runs about 210 degrees

· Paint is presentable but needs a good wet sanding / buffing

· Power door locks are not hooked up

· Sub-frame connectors should be welded-in if going the full race car route

· Speedometer cable not hooked up

· Steering shaft rubs against swap headers

· Scratches on rear bumper ( see pic )

Have most all receipts for build ( prior to my owning and since my owning ). Over $8,500 worth of receipts just in engine, xhaust and transmission. Please let me know if there are any questions. Thanks for looking
