Description of 1965 Ford F-100

You are looking at one of those rare 1965 F100s that has survived the past half century with flying colors. The first year Ford introduced the revolutionary Twin I-Beam suspension. I have owned this truck for sixteen years and I believe I'm the third owner. The second owner only had it for about a year. I was told the first owner, n elderly farmer, ought it new in 1965. Except for some (very typical)rust underside ofthe bed floor, he truck is solid and rust free. The bed floor has been covered in aluminum diamond plate which isn't bothered by rust, or is any of the rust visible. Fenders, ockers, oor posts...all free of rust. Repainted holly green (base/clear) about two years ago, he exterior is near perfect, ith a few minor imperfections normal for a two year old paint job. The only noteworthy blemish is asmall, uarter sized, ubble on thelower driver's door. The back side of this spot is accessible and there's no rust present, o I assume there was some dust not removed before spraying. No other bubbles anywhere.302 V8remanufactured motor installed about 2K miles ago in perfect running order. Edelbrock 4bbl carb, 6 Automatic transmission, nd to top it off, his truck evenhas power steering. Drives like a dream. Interior is clean and in good shape. All lights work, ncluding a cargo light on the back of the cab. Aftermarket CD player/radio. Only "issues" are under-bed rust and a couple of chips on the windshield which appear stable and have not cracked, r spread. This truck looks great, ounds great, nd drives great. It's a pleasure to drive Sunday afternoons and turns a lot of heads. It's a beautiful truck you'd be as proud to own as I have been. Not a show truck, ut could be with very minimal investment if that's what you're after. I wanted a driver and this is about as good as it gets if you like old Ford trucks. The truck is located in Augusta, eorgia and you are welcome to visit to inspect, f desired. The truck is sold "As is" and carries no warranty. Shipping, f necessary, will be up to the buyer to arrange and pay. I will require a $500 deposit within 48 hours and the balance due no later than7 days after auction close.
