Description of 1960 Ford Thunderbird

Here is a numbers-matching 1960 Ford Thunderbird Convertible built at the Lincoln plant in Wixom Michigan on October 23. 1960. Engine is the Y-code 352ci mated to the cruiseomatic auto transmission and 3. 10 rear end. This was an A-code black paint car from the factory. 'Real' wire wheels all around with 'Coker Whitewalls'. Tires are 'like new'. Here is a partial list of recent work done: Complete exhaust system replaced. Shocks replaced. Radiator replaced. Brake shoes all around. New Holley carb. A/C upgraded to rotary compressor and twin electric cooling fans. Most front end components replaced. Black vinyl top replaced. Convertible top hydraulic motor and rams replaced with OEM units. Electric windows and seats work fine. Working factory AM radio. Red vinyl interior is all new and in excellent shape. New OEM carpeting is also perfect. Glass and chrome are above-average and I found no rust evident throughout. Factory drum brakes all around with the power-booster under the dash. Vehicle had a paint re-spreay several years ago and I would currently rate it a 7 out of 10. Speedometer was replaced so the actual mileage is unknown. The Bird is not presented as a 'show car' but rather a beautiful 'driver' that will turn heads wherever it goes. The styling is the 'rocket ship' look that the T-Bird was famous for in 1960. You will not be dissapointed. Thanks For Looking.
