Description of 1970 Ford F-100 Sport Custom

Up for sale is a very good example of a 45 year old pickup, hat still runs and drives like it's in it's prime. Was originally purchased in Spokane by my good friend's dad. He drove it moderately. In 1995 it went from turquoise/white? to Ford twilight blue metallic, eep silver lower. Very good paint, till shines very well, nd soft to the touch. Same time the 302 v8 was rebuilt top to bottom, 4 tranny too. All work was done at a reputable shop in Clayton, a. Then it was passed to his son. He drove it a little, hen was dry stored mostly between 2006-2014. It has looked exactly the same for the past 20 years, or the most part. He sold it to me a while ago, nd I have been driving it since. 129k miles on pickup, 0k ish on drivetrain.

So it's been in Spokane/ Deer Park all it's life, nd has no real rust problems. Floor board protectors were installed early on, ery solid truck all around. Never abused, recked, bandoned in a ditch. Bed box is in amazing shape. All body panels/trim original and quite straight. The sport custom package added the most trim possible. Suspension, rakes, ires good, ower steering takes a little getting used to. Being just a 2wd 100 it rides like a car, nd is very comfy.

Engine and tranny work well, t fires right up no matter what the temp is outside. Does have little tick at idle, hich it's had since it was rebuilt. Doesn't effect anything. Dual exhaust sounds great, ot loud. No longer how long it sits, he always wakes up quickly. Has a good heater, on a/c, ood stereo with console. Driving around in 90-100 degree weather and you wont sweat. No heat comes through the firewall thank god. Seat, oor panels, eadliner, re in great shape. Dash is a bit wavey.

So if you want a good, eliable, ecent 16 mpg pickup that goes 70 on the highway, nd is a real jaw dropper, hat has been fairly well preserved, then this might be something to consider
