  • Here is your chance to own a cool old Ford Galaxie Custom 500 with a 390 V8 3 speed column shift. This classic is running, riving and titled as a Pennsylvania antique vehicle. I hate to sell but the car does not fit in my garage and can't allow it sit outside for the winter. This is a fun and unique experience to drive and I can send you a driving video if not already here. The 390 V8 has plenty of power whenever needed and cruises down the highway. The brakes take getting used to and I had them adjusted recently, ut not convinced they are as good as they should be. Brake light remains lit at all times.
  • There is minimal rust to speak of. No holes in the floor with clean original carpet. Frame is solid. Check out pictures underneath. I think some portions of body, ainly around doors have been repaired or repainted (see pictures of primer showing). Original seat material is worn under new seat covers. Motor is strong and shifts through gears very well. Also everything is original from what I'm told. All gauges are functional. Motor does not appear to have any leaks except what appears to be a power steering hose. Power steering is working. All windows open and close. Windshield needs replaced.
  • Air conditioning compressor sounds like it energizes but does not blow cold. A trim panel is missing under dash (you have to look under to notice). Dash has crack below windshield. Cigarette lighter and ashtray light are disconnected. Original radio, ash lights, nd signals appear to be functional. There might be a battery drain if it sits too long so I have a disconnect switch at the negative terminal. A lot of dents, cratches and rogue body trim. Weather stripping failing in some locations. Chrome bumpers faded in spots. Antenna in bent, emoved and included in trunk. Speaker holes remain in rear valance.Title shows 103,000 actual miles.
  • Car is titled as a Pennsylvania antique vehicle with antique tags that I will convey on to new owner if desired. I recently changed oil, il filter and coolant.
  • Good Luck bidding! There are not many 3 on the tree 390 V8s left in such original condition!
