Description of 1927 Ford Other

This is a listing for a brand new custom roadster hot rod build that is as low and loud as they come and completely showable. It started out as a 1927 and with some extreme body modifications we ended up with a nasty little concept rat rod. We named it the Ratillac. With Cadillac tail lights mounted sideways and air bagged in the rear we thought the name was proper. Its a fiberglass body so no worries about rust and is powered by a 290hp small block chevy hooked to a 350 turbo trans with 10 bolt chevy rear end with a 342 gear. Total weight of the car is roughly 1700lbs and hooks up very well. Super fast and not for the faint of heart to push it. Its built for the hardcore rat rodder or hot rodder. Its also built era correct with a spring behind model a axle with new kingpins and aftermarket spindles. Gm front disc brakes and drum rear brakes. The wheels are 20 x 10 in the rear with a 31. 5 inch tire with plenty of meat and ads to the cruising gear ratio but allows the rear end to hook up good at take off. and the fronts are gasser et 15 x 4. 5 for that true old school hot rod look. Super smooth ride due to the 30 inch ladder bar setup with air bags and locator bar in rear all hidden under the body for that low smooth feel. Ride height when driving is about 5. 5 inches and when the air is exhausted about 2 inches. The chassis is a custom z'd frame that is for this build. Steering is a new corvair box and has no problem turning the wheels. The paint is a black on red weathered look with a custom airbrush job that just fits the car done by airtech corp. 9. 5 gallon gas tank. custom zoomie headers both semetrical that sound awesome. This roadster is street worthy with full functional running lights and has been driven a short distance but has not been titled or registered. Im gonna list it untitled 1st to see if anyone is interested in buying. I can do the leg work to have it tiltled and inspected for anyone who is interested.
