Description of 1971 Ford F-250 Sport Custom

Please read entire listing! This is a really neat and unmolested California truck! Perfect "shop truck" or pull the boat!
It was factory ordered at Pasadena Motors and has always been a southern California truck! I was told the original mileage of 93,782 is actual and I can honestly believe it based on the overall condition! It is equipped with both the Sport Custom and Camper Special packages! It has the big powerful 390 V8 and backed by a heavy duty 4 speed (New Process 435) manual transmission. It starts right up,runs good and drives nice down the road.No leaks or smoking! The clutch feels very good.It has power steering and power brakes also.Plus it is equipped with factory Air Conditioning (needs charge) and the heat is hot! It's equipped with a Dana 60 rear end with 3.73 gears,plus heavy duty springs and trailer towing package also.The tires have good tread in the front and excellent in the rear.The original Wimbledon White paint looks very good for its age and hold a nice shine! It does have typical nicks and chips from use.But the body is very straight and super solid! Underneath the truck is very clean also.The glass is damage free and clear.The vintage fiberglass topper is high quality and made by "Stockland" and it has deep tinted sliding side windows and cargo light. The bed was sprayed with Zolatone a long time ago and has held up well.The original Parchment vinyl interior looks great! The bench seat,door panels and dash pad look nice! The sun visors, headliner and black rubber flooring are in great shape as well! It has a factory radio delete plate installed.All the dash gauges,wipers,horn and exterior lights work! Even the cigar lighter and dome light work also! Included with the sale are the original California black plates,owners manual and warranty card. Also I have the factory window sticker and service receipts.The elderly owner wanted customized CA plates and it is currently registered until March of 2017.
