For sale is a 1947 Ford 1/2 ton pickup. This truck was removed from a farm in NC after the owner passed away and has obviously been sitting for many years. Still has many good, desirable parts including the flathead V8, straight axle front end, open banjo rear end, very nice hood, nice running boards, usable cab, fenders, doors, etc. Still has very cool original green paint clearly visible on the firewall, doors and parts of the bed. This would make a good start to a rat rod or a good cruiser type hot rod truck. Frame looks to be very solid with no visible rust through. The executor of the estate mixed up titles during the process of selling the many vehicles which were present and this truck ended up with a good NC title for a 1947 Ford, but the serial number is incorrect. The truck does have the original VIN stamping clearly visible on the frame, so acquiring the correct title should not be a problem for the buyer. The incorrect title which I received with the truck will be included with the sale. This truck is being sold at no reserve.
