Description of 1967 Ford Mustang

ONE OWNER 1967 Mustang Hardtop.
This 1967 Mustang Hardtop was purchased new in Renton, Washington at Robinson and Lyons Ford by a woman named Sally.
"Mustang Sally" was a school teacher and drove less than 20 miles a week. That means this 1967 Mustang time capsule only traveled 25,000 miles in 50 years! Original owners are in their 90s and signed a mileage affidavit.
This Arcadian Blue Mustang was parked under the same carport since new (Last photo is Winter 67/68). Luckily, the carport protected the car. Also, Seattle Washington doesn't get very much snow and doesn't use salt, so the body is in great shape for a 50 year old.
There is some minor rust here and there (under battery tray, dime sized spots at the front edge of the doors and unfortunately dirt and debris blocked the drains in the lower 1/4 panels which caused a golf ball sized hole in the drivers side wheel well. There are a few other spots that will need close inspection, but overall the car is EXTREMELY solid! You can see how solid the floors are (lots of glossy factory paint-- see photos). I did wirebrush and spray some rustoleum on the footwells because they were orange and had some surface corrosion, but noticed nothing more than a few pinholes in only the drivers front well (I scrubbed to bare metal, and it was only a few areas). Keep in mind that Ford did ZERO rustproofing on the early Mustangs...
The original owner did back into a pole back in the 1980s (at 5mph or less). The bumper took most of the impact. The decklid has a ding and taillight panel has a dent, should be an easy fix. Included is a straight used bumper that matches the patina. There is also a scrape on the passenger side front valence (see photo). Doors open and close like new (no drop and solid "Click" when softly shut).
I pulled the interior out carefully and cleaned everything (and had a chance to inspect and photograph the floors). Flushed the fuel system, replaced the battery and got the Mustang running. Started to go through the brakes, replaced the tires with as close as I could find to the correct size (spare is still the original SilverTown), as well as a bunch of little stuff from National Parts Depot (kick panels, gas tank filler neck, battery tray, etc, etc, etc). Mustang starts and runs really good! Doesn't stop very well yet, but will try to finish that up and bleed the brakes before loading on a transporter.
Restore this car or clean up and preserve! VERY hard to find such a clean and original low mileage Mustang in one of the most desirable colors! The 100% Original paint will buff out on 70% of the car. The rest can be blended or the entire car resprayed.

Too many projects right now. (I ended up rescuing this Mustang when I heard the Original Owners were ready to have it hauled off by the Pick a Part Junkyard!) Glad I saved it, just need some space back in my shop!

Car is located less than 1 mile from I-90 in North Bend Washington for easy transport.
