Description of 1952 Ford Customline

Up for auction here is a very unique 1952 Ford. This was built in the 90's but still looks great to this day. It has the pro street look but is still capable of being driven every day. There is a lot of nice features of this car that makes it fun and enjoyable to drive. The drive train consists of a 302 V8 with 351 Cleveland heads. It has an aluminum intake with a Holley carb. It also has an aluminum radiator and electric fan to keep it cool. The transmission is a built C6 to handle to the power and cruise down the road with ease. The rear end is a narrowed Ford 9" with a Detroit Locker and 4:10 gears. The rear tire size is 31x16.50R15. The rear suspension is a 4 link with a panhard bar and coilovers. The front suspension is from an 80's Crown Vic. It has power disc brakes up front and also power steering. This combo makes the car handle great while being very comfortable. The body had all the trim removed as well as the doors handles and trunk handle to give it a sleek look. All of these are now operated with electronic door poppers. The rest of the chrome was painted to match. The paint on the body still shines just as good as the day it was done. This car is a prime example of a very well built street rod. It was built over 20 years ago and still looks just as good as the day it was finished. Most cars that were built that long ago will start to fall apart and show their age. This car is definitely the exception and was built right. We just took the car over to Hetz Pinstriping and had him pinstripe it to add some style. If you prefer not to have it on there it can be removed with mineral spirits, but it really does make the car. The interior looks just as good as the outside and has some nice features as well. It has a tilt column, power windows, and a very nice sounding stereo system with a hidden cd player. The center console was custom built to flow with the style of the car and it turned out great. The seats do slide and tilt as well. In the trunk is the fuel cell and battery that also had pinstriping added. If you are looking for a street rod you can just hop in and drive around with no worries than this is it. Whoever ends up with the car will not be disappointed at all. It looks just as good in person as it does in pictures. If you have any questions about the car feel free to call Jon at 515-249-6167. Thanks for checking out the listing and have a great day!
