I BOUGHT THIS MUSTANG LOCAL AND IT NEEDED TO BE FINISHED. THE BODY AND PAINT WORK IS VERY NICE. NO WAVES, NO DENTS, NO CHIPS, NO SIGNS OD HEAVY BONDO. IT IS A DARKER BLUE(ALMOST SONIC BLUE ) AND HAS SHELBY STRIPES PAINTED ON TOP SECTIONS AND DECALS ON LOWER ROCKERS, THEY MATCH PEFECTLY. CAR IS LASER STRAIGHT AND I WOULD SAY 9 1/2 OUT OF 10. THE FAST INJECTION UNIT RUNS WELL AND HAS A FUEL CELL/BLADDER TYPE WITH RETURN LINE. FUEL AND RETURNS ARE 3/8" ALUMINUM. IT HAS A TREMEC 5 SPEED TRANS AND 4 WHEEL DISC MANUAL BRAKES. MANUAL RACK AND PINION STEERING, TUBULAR A ARMS AND COILOVER FRONT SHOCKS. GLASS AND CHROME ARE EXCELLENT. NEWER WHEELS AND TIRES. AFTERMARKET A/C. THE GUY I GOT IT FROM TOLD ME IT WAS A COUPE CONVERSION AND I RESEARCHED THE VIN AND IT IS A COUPE BY VIN NUMBER. YOU CAN SEE INSIDE THE TRUNK REAR QUARTERS UPPER WHERE THE FASTBACK SECTION WAS IN STALLED. LOOKS COMPLETELY FACTORY OUTSIDE AND EVEN INTERIOR LOOKS OE FASTBACK. THE ONLY OTHER GIVEAWAY BESIDES VIN IS ABSENTS OF FRONT TORQUE BOXES. IT IS PAINTED AND CLEAR COATED UNDERNEITH SAME AS THE CAR. LOOKS VERY NICE. THE INTERIOR IS NICE WITH NEW HEADLINER INSTALLED. RADIO IS NOT HOOKED UP. NO SPEAKERS. VINTAGE A/C INSTALLED WHEN I GOT IT.

I just got some more information on the engine. It is a FORD MOTORSPORT 306 CI TRIPLE X CRATE ROLLER MOTOR with AlUMINUM TWISTED WEDGE HEADS. It also has an aluminum driveshaft. There are a few little odds and ends that still need addressed to make it fully daily drivable as I have very few miles on it. Such as radio and speakers, It appears to have an electric antenna, windshield washer pump, possibly alignment. Car was at mecum auctions in Chicago 2014 and kissemmi 2015. did not meet reserve at $37,000 at one and $38,000 at the other. That was before it had Fuel Injection added. I have a video of the car running so you can hear it idling and revving up. Sorry but none driving it. Sounds great!!!just text me and I will send it to your smart phone. Also I just installed new seatbelts in front with Cobra buttons, and I just noticed there are no horns on it. I will buy them and put them on it too. The hood won't pull down flush in the back (about 1/4" high) and they are adjusted as low as they go so I ordered new hinges that I will include with it.Good Luck!DJ
