1922 Model T Ford Roadster

Here is a nice solid running and driving 1922 Model T Ford. Came from a gentleman who belonged to a T club and always maintained the car. The car is a Roadster that was customized from a Touring car. Starts, runs and drives very well. Engine #5496817 was cast in October 1921 which is correct for this year car.

The car has recently been gone through and money spent to update and improve the car, here are a few of the highlights:

-starter was bench inspected and tested

-complete new wiring & spark plugs

-new Anderson timer

-4 new Wards Riverside tires, flaps & tubes

-new steel fuel line & sediment bowl

-carburetor cleaned and adjusted

-radiator re-cored with new chrome neck and cap

-cleaned gas tank

-new front spindles & bushings on front axle

-rearview and sideview mirrors

-good 6volt battery

-new interior upholstery and seat springs

All the lights work and is a good driving car with a good clutch and working loud horn. The brake pedal is a tad soft but and could use an adjustment and the hand-brake gets pulled all the way back and may need an adjustment. Has the normal oil drips of a Model T. Clear open title and the car is located in Oswego, IL. Please ask all questions before bidding. I am not a Model T teacher so if you are new to these cars, please do your homework first and ask your wife. Cash in person or bank wire accepted. $500 deposit due within 24 hours through check or PayPal. License plates do not come with car, sorry.
