Description of 1967 Ford Mustang

Up for auction is a Pro-touring style 1967 MustangFastback. The drivetrain, steering andsuspension components are all new and top of the line performance parts. The car just reached the 500-mile break-inperiod for the drivetrain prior to storing for the winter.

I purchased thevehicle in 2013 and the previous owner stated that the car was painted in1999. All of the sheet metal issolid. From what I can tell the driver’sside quarter panel has been replaced and everything else looks to be original. Car is currently candy apple red with somechips and light scratches but otherwise good condition. I have not touched the exterior of thevehicle other than the fiberglass hood that was required for the fitment of thenew engine. The interior was also doneprior to my purchase. The interior isclean and well maintained. Below is alist of all of the systems that have been replaced or modified. For a more detailed list please see the imagesattached with invoices.

Exterior: Maier Racing high-rise Shelby style hood withquik-latch hood pins (I also have the factory turn-signal hood). 17x9” torq-thrust wheels and nitto 555s245/45/17 tires front and back.

Interior: replaced prior to purchase in 2013. Added a Painless wiring fuse panel withrelays, push button start, new retro sound radio (with aux input), and billetantenna. Holley EFI Fuel Gauge, Speedometer, CAN bus LCD screen.

Steering and Suspension:

Front: Total costinvolved independent front suspension with tubular control arms and late modelmustang power rack and pinion steering.

Rear: Three-linktorque arm rear suspension with upgraded sway bar, subframe connectors, and aCurrie 9” rear-end with 3.55 trutrack posi.

Brakes: Front andRear Wilwood 12” Slotted and Crossed drilled rotors, 4 piston calipers, NiCopbrake lines, AN fittings and stainless-steel hoses. Wilwood Brake and Clutch Pedal assembly withbalance bar. The Pedal assembly/ MasterCylinder has been recessed into the fire wall for optimum fitment. (You will notice in the pictures that thereare 3 reservoirs. A front brake, rear brake, and hydraulic clutch). The brakes havethe feel of power brakes without the giant brake booster.

Engine:

The engine was built by a very reputable builder out ofNorth Carolina called Prestige Motorsports. They specialize in ford stroker engines with fuel injectionset-ups. They are all over social mediaif you would like to research the quality product that they put out.

This engine is a 427 windsor that dyno’d out at 500hp and 500tq. It has a ton of upgrades as well please seeinvoice as there is too much to list. Fuelsystem is all Holley EFI from the tank to the block. Holley Terminator Stealth EFI with Holley EFIin tank fuel pump, pressure regulator, and new Holley fuel tank. All AN fittings. The ignition system is MSD including distributor, coil, and CD box. Engine is cooled byspal dual electric fans and radiator that are wired directly into holley ecuand automatic. After installationPrestige Motorsports tuned the engine remotely for the Holley Terminator. It runs flawlessly and fires up on coldstarts everytime.

Transmission:

The transmission kit came from a company called Americanpowertrain. Again, very reputable and aquick google search will show you what they offer. It is a TKO-600 tremec transmission, with aquicktime bell housing, performance clutch and custom driveshaft.

This car is an absolute blast to drive. I built it to be a runner and not just atrailer queen. The handling isincredible and there is absolutely more than enough power to do whatever youwould like with it. It does not drivelike a 50 year old car. The vehicle isavailable for inspection and stored on a 4 post lift which would make it easyto see how clean it is. There are visualblemishes in the paint and I would encourage anyone to inspect the vehicleprior to purchase. If a test drive isdesired I would be happy to drive the vehicle with the potential buyer as apassenger. I have all of the receiptsand documentation from the date of my purchase to current. I am selling the vehicle because I haveanother project waiting and I enjoy building the cars just as much as I enjoydriving them. If you look at the moneyspent and what it costs to buy a shell then you will see that you cannot buildthis car for what I am selling it for.

**I am willing to work with shipping agencies at the buyer’sexpense. I will need to have fundscleared prior to the release of the vehicle.Vehicle sold as is no warranty from me.Remaining warranties through parts manufacturers should carry over withwarranty information included in invoice photos.
