1959 Ford Galaxie 500 Skyliner Retractable Hardtop Convertible. NEEDS WORK ! Great car to restore or a great parts car. Engine is a 352 ci, and has automatic trans. Both are in excellent condition, new gaskets and seals 3 years ago. Car runs great, go anywhere. No power steering, no power brakes. Mileage is 86141 Now the not so great: Needs body work and paint. Also needs new upholstery installed (have new in boxes). The retractable top does not work. It did almost 3 years ago, but jammed. I believe it is a solenoid problem. The car has been in dry storage since. Last on the road Oct. 2017. I have almost $20,000 into this car. I have no time to repair. Wife says "sell it". Car is located in North Woodstock, NH, about 2.5 hours north of Boston, MA. Clear current NH registratrion, NH is a non title state for vehicles over 25 years old. Email me with any questions. |
