Description of 1985 GMC Jimmy Sierra Classic

Up for sale is this extremely clean and nearly rust-free 1985 GMC Jimmy Sierra Classic. As you can see by the pictures this is about as clean as you'll find at this price. The rockers, floors, fenders, doors, and even the tailgate are rust-free and solid, original metal. Very straight, no dents. I HAVE MORE PICS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. Just email or call (NO TEXTS) at menos67@comcast.ne, or call at 724-523-2947.
I purchased this recently but do not have the time (or the back) to restore it. It doesn't seem to need much but a once-through. It seems to need a tune-up, but it had been parked for 13 years in Virginia, and the last owner bought it in 2007 from a man in North Carolina. It still has the North Carolina inspection sticker that expired in June of 2008 on the windshield. I also have a picture of the North Carolina title.
The transmission shifts firm, so I believe it was rebuilt and a shift kit was added. I've only driven it around the block as it's not registered and insured, but everything feels right. This Jimmy also has the optional 3.73:1 gears and 31 gallon fuel tank.
The A/C does not work, but I wouldn't expect it to. Likely the compressor will need new seals. All other accessories work except the radio, and the windows go up a little slow. The motors seem fine, and I believe they just need a little TLC. Oh, and a tachometer was added but is not hooked up. The wiring diagram is in the center console. Look at the pics, give me a call and make an offer. Cash talks and I'm very flexible on the price. I may consider trades even, up, or down. I'm interested in older trucks from the 1920's through the 60's. This is one you won't want to let slip away if you're into these 4WD Jimmy or Blazer square-bodies. Again, call Steve at 724-523-2947. No texts.
The vehicle is located near Jeannette, Pa. 15644, or about 30 miles east of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, just off US Route 30, about 4 miles from PA turnpike exit 67. This vehicle is being sold as is.
