Description of 1994 Jaguar XJS

You are bidding on a 1994 Jaguar XJS 6.0L V12 Convertible.

Wikipedia tells us that "theJaguar XJ-S(later theJaguar XJS), as produced by Jaguarfrom 1976 to 1996. The XJ-S replaced theE-Typechronologically in September 1975, nd was based on theXJ saloon. It had been developed as the XK-F, hough it was very different in character from its predecessor. Although it never had quite the same sporting image, he XJ-S was a competent grand tourer, nd more aerodynamic than the E-Type. The last XJS was produced on 4 April 1996, y then 115,413 had been produced during a 21-year production life."

This example has been driven approximately 110K miles, r only 5,000 miles a year since new. The paint gleams in the Arizona sun, nd the leather interior is near perfect. No cracks or tears in the seats and the dash looks as if it were still 1994. The headliner has no rips, ears, r stains. The gauges, adio, nd power accessories all work as they should. The trunk mounted CD Changer was bypassed in favor of an AUX in input. Why have only 6 CDs to choose from when your entire collection is available on your MP3 player? The V12 engine starts easily and runs perfectly. I must say that this is the smoothest running engine I have ever had the pleasure of owning. The 4 speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and reliably in both Normal and Sport modes. It has good tires and brakes; the front breaks being replaced only about 1000 miles ago.

This is a 22-year-old automobile, nd as such it is not concurs perfect. Besides a few rock chips, he front spoiler is cracked. I have been assured by a professional body and paint man that this can be fixed for a reasonable price without replacing the nose of the car. You can see in the pics that the canvas top is showing some signs of stress and will soon need to be replaced. These are available at autoberry.com for less than $300. The steering rack and control arm bushings need to be renewed. Being an old British car, mall oil leaks appear to coming from the oil pressure switch and pinion seal. I would also recommend the cooling and A/C systems be serviced before hot weather is upon us.

The winning bidder will call me at 602-618-8230 within 24 hrs. to make arrangements for payment and pick up. I will accept bank to bank transfer or certified bank check only. The car will not be released until funds have cleared my bank. Your winning bid is a firm offer to buy this automobile and you will be expected to complete the transaction.

Thank You
