Description of 1972 Jaguar E-Type

A very nice driver level car which has had a professional v8 transplant 3 yrs and about 1000 miles ago. This is not just any v8.It is a hand built United RacingEngines torque monster motor withFAST efi 2.0with over 500 hp and ft/lbs of torque.Included are actual dyno run figures and dvd of dyno run. Please see included picture of info for components, etc. It is backed by a 3 spd auto with od built for the car..It has a basically stock exhaust and tailpipe. The car is extremely fast, but the stock suspension and brakes cope very well with good hook-up even in the rain. You could unleash another 75 or so hp by going to a less restrictive exhaust if you need to go even faster. The FAST efi system makes the car everyday reliable and easy to start. It runs cool even in Atlanta summers with a/c on full blast. The car comes with its original number matching motor and auto trans which had suffered a blown head gasket.I have owned the car for about 7 yrs andhave done much upgrading of a restoration which was done in the year 2000 time frame.I replaced nearly theentire brake system,ac system, shocks, edid some of the gauges including quartz conversion for the clock, rebuild of original radio with newer internal components along with repair, replacement of numerous small items andthe usual maintenance.Everything works on the car with the exception of rear defroster and the tach is under reading rpm and will need rebuild. The paint was done around 2000 and has held up pretty well. There is no rust and it still has original paint on the inteMIrior of rear hatch and in well for spare. There are the usual nicks and scratches and one 2x2inch area of poor touch up on lower part of rear hatch. The wheels are presentable, but some rust is starting on a few spokes and there is road rash as well so you maywant to redo these in the near future. All five tires are new.The interior I would rate as a 2- with no significant issues or blemishes. If you need any additional pics I will get them.If you need any additional info please ask.On Jan-27-16 at 04:24:37 PST, eller added the following information:

addendum. The motor transplant was done using a kit from brokenkitty.com .No welding was done making this easily reversible if you want to back to stock
